recipe:
9oz pl flour
3oz caster sugar
6oz best butter
method:
sift flour and sugar into a bowl.rub in butter.knead well to form a smooth paste/dough.
divide into 2 portions (or leave whole) and roll into 2 7″ rounds 1″ thick(or cut into shapes).mark rounds with portions needed and prick all over with fork.bake on greased baking sheets gas 3-4 for 25-30 mins or till light golden colour.
